What aspect ratios does Instagram support?

Feed posts from 1.91:1 (landscape) to 4:5 (portrait), including 1:1 square. Stories and Reels are 9:16. The profile grid shows posts cropped to 3:4.

How do I post a photo without cropping?

Use Fit mode: the whole photo is placed inside the new ratio and the empty space is filled with a blurred copy, a color or a gradient. This is what “no crop” apps do.

Can I convert many photos at once?

Yes. Add all your photos, pick the ratio and export settings once, and download everything as a ZIP — optionally in several ratios at the same time.

Does converting reduce quality?

No. The photo is redrawn at 1080, 1440 or its original width with high-quality resampling. Choose PNG for lossless output.
